Modern yoga practice is often dynamic.
Movement, heat, and intensity dominate many classes.
Yet many students arrive to practice carrying something different:
• chronic stress
• fatigue
• nervous system overload
• restricted connective tissue
Dynamic yoga alone does not always address this.
Yin Yoga offers an essential complement.
Through longer-held postures and stillness, Yin practice supports:
• connective tissue health
• joint mobility
• nervous system recovery
• deeper internal awareness
For teachers, understanding Yin expands your ability to support students in ways many teachers cannot.

Yin teaching is not simply holding poses longer. It requires a deeper understanding of:
Functional Anatomy
Understanding how different bodies experience postures differently.
Fascia and Connective Tissue
Learning how long-held postures influence the body’s connective systems.
Stillness and Internal Attention
Guiding students safely through extended holds.
Modification and Adaptation
Supporting a wide range of bodies without forcing shapes.
This training develops these capabilities step by step.
Throughout the training you will develop:

Integrating traditional teachings into modern practice.

Understanding range of motion, joint variation, and connective tissue.
How Yin practice supports tissue adaptation and resilience.

Designing intelligent and safe class structures.
Learning how to guide quieter, slower classes with clarity and confidence.
Learning from experienced educators matters. This training is guided by teachers who have spent decades refining their craft. Together they integrate modern anatomy, classical philosophy and practical teaching skill.

“Yin gave me the confidence to offer something completely different to my students. It deepened my understanding of anatomy, breath and holding space. The online content was rich and flexible, and the in-person immersion took it to a whole new level. Duncan and Emma brought so much presence to the experience.”” – Greta H.
“I found the content and the facilitators to be authentic and deeply in tune with the intention I believe at the core of this amazing discipline.”
“The in person weekend was really interactive. I highly recommend this training!”
